Job Description
This opening presents a unique opportunity for aspiring or moderately experienced landscape designers on track for licensure to work with a landscape architecture and planning studio that has a unique focus on community engagement and participatory process. This is a salaried, full-time position.
Position Responsibilities
The Landscape Designer at Anthropopulus Design + Planning will work closely with the landscape architects on various projects with some project management opportunities. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Preparation of site documentation and analysis diagrams
Researching and documenting findings for precedent and case study review
Site, planting, and irrigation design and construction documentation
Construction administration
Developing outreach materials including flyers, social media posts, and presentation materials
Developing visual representation including plans, sections, and renderings
Assisting with community engagement activities and outreach
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in landscape architecture or a related field
Basic understanding of site, planting, and irrigation design
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Competency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
Ability to manage and prioritize work requests from multiple sources
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with consultants, community organizations, government officials, and the public
Willingness to pitch-in and be a team player in a small office environment
