Hello,

The annual NM State Forestry Re-Leaf Workshop will be on Thursday, November 5 and Friday, November 6.  Although we hold the workshop for Re-Leaf applicants, we welcome any other communities who may have staff or volunteers that would like to get training on basic tree planting, maintenance, and irrigation.  This is a very hands-on, interactive class, and will be taught by two pros – Joran Viers from the City of Albuquerque, and Jeff Clark from St. John’s College.

The training will be held in Albuquerque, at the Bernalillo County Extension Offices.  The agenda and map are attached.  Please feel free to share with anyone you think may be interested.  An RSVP is requested if you plan to attend any or all of the sessions – my e-mail is on the agenda.
