ASLA PR Campaign

As you have all heard by now, ASLA is starting a PR Campaign to educatethe public about what landscape architects do. There's been amisconception that we just 'shrub it up'. Or how many times has someonesaid, "So winter must be your slow season?" Now is our opportunity tochange the public's perception. On Wednesday, August 17 at 12:00pm, theNew Mexico Chapter of ASLA will be part of this effort. Chapters acrossthe country will be holding various activities at the same time to starteducating the public and kicking off the national PR Campaign.

Now I need your help! Please come educate the public about theprofession on Wednesday, August 17 at 12:00pm (see below for locations). We will provide materials to hand out to the public; you just have toshow up and help us do it. It's only 1 hour of your time and it's a funway to spend your lunch hour!
