Concepts of LEED Certifications
Date/Time: 8 weeks: 3/27 to 5/21 on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30
Location: Santa Fe Community College, Santa Fe, NM
Note: This course introduces the concepts and practices associated with the U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) certification for building structures, both commercial and residential and schools. It will also discuss other emerging programs intended to improve sustainable design in construction.

Instructor: UCLA Professor, Jerry Hastings, ASLA – former Master Grader for CLARB and author of LARE Review Section E Vignettes: Grading, Drainage, and Stormwater Management
Note: Workshop includes: instructor authored 185 page 3 ring binder textbook, minimum of (34) 11x17 practice vignette problems with solutions, sample copy of the latest LARE Reference Manual, and access to the instructor’s pre-workshop FTP site with critical introductory information, how to grade primer, and optional pre-workshop assignments.
